The HCS school calendar closely follows the public school calendar for the convenience of parents who may also have children enrolled in that system. The State Department of Education requires all non-public schools to schedule a minimum of 170 days to implement an educational program. Our schedule provides for 175 days in session. It is left to the discretion of the individual private school whether to schedule make-up days for cancellations due to inclement weather.
