Listen for the Washington County public school's radio bulletins regarding closings for inclement weather and hazardous road conditions. These bulletins are carried on WHAG TV Channel 25 along with the local radio stations. The website address for public school closing information is www.wcboe.k12.md.us.
If the public schools are closed, we will be closed.
If a one-hour delay is announced, morning classes and child care will open on time.
If there is a two-hour delay announced, Extended Care will be delayed one hour, opening at 8 am. Primary and Pre-primary classes will begin as usual, at 8:30 am.
If there is an early dismissal announced, we will also dismiss early. We will telephone all parents who have not already called to inquire about the dismissal time.
Of course we caution you to keep in mind personal safety and exercise your
own judgment when deciding to travel from your particular location.
